We know many of you are concerned about the spread of COVID -19 (the new coronavirus) and how it may impact us here. Ensuring residents are cared for and remain in a safe and healthy environment is our first priority. Out of an abundance of caution and under guidelines from Center of Disease Control and Department of Aging and Independent Living we are temporarily restricting all routine social visits and limiting visits to rare circumstances, such as a medically necessitated visit for our residents.
If you feel as though your visit meets the above guidelines you will be screened using the criteria below. If one or more of these criteria are met, you will not be allowed to enter the resident common area. All visitors allowed to visit must perform hand hygiene with sap and water or hand sanitizer.
Screening Criteria:
- Have you traveled internationally within the last 14 days to a restricted country?
- Have you been on a cruise or in another setting with a confined crowd in the last 14 days?
- Do you have any signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
- Have you had contact with someone with or under investigation for COVID-19?
We understand that connecting with your loved ones is incredibly important, and there are a variety of other ways you might consider communicating with them. These may include telephone, email, text, video chat, Skype, Facetime or social media. If you believe a visit to the facility is necessary and would like to make special arrangements, please contact the Director.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the facility Director.
